Here are some of the things people often ask us:

What do we need to bring?

Here’s a checklist:

●      Your booking confirmation email to check in.

●      Food and drink. See the Out and About page for info about the local shops (including a free downloadable guide). 

●      Sturdy shoes or wellies. The grass can be wet in the mornings with dew and, as its a working farm, there is almost always mud somewhere!

●      Toiletries. Towels are provided (see the Shepherds Hut page for everything that is included) but shampoo, toothpaste etc is not.

●   A good book. There's nothing better than relaxing in the sun with a good book, outside (or inside!) your Shepherd's Hut.

Who else will be there?

The Hut is part of a working farm and smallholding and we live in the farmhouse with our two young children and dog. There are sheep in the field, pigs in the pen, cows in the barn and chickens ranging around somewhere. There will always be someone around if you need anything or just want a chat.

Can I bring my dog?

I'm afraid we can't allow dogs as there are farm animals in the fields surrounding the Hut.

Drive straight up to the Hut!

Where do I park?

You can drive straight up to the Hut.  We recommend parking directly behind it, that way your car won't block the wonderful views you'll be enjoying!
